MISSING IN ACTION is a critique of the Fashion Cycle that challenges and educates the consumer environment to reduce impact on the natural environment. For the person that does not need extravagance, abundance or perpetual consumption. Designed for all ages, sexes, people. DROP 001 is a trans-seasonal collection that deconstructs everyday clothing basics. The current Industry is the second most polluting globally, resulting in a slowly distorted environment which also impacts how we function. This is reversed through distorting clothing in order to reduce waste and consume mindfully. Deconstructing wardrobe basics allows for a slow approach to clothing essentials. This transcends time, trends and personal style. Created through following the cradle-to-cradle method and using up cycling, patchwork, subtraction cutting, zero waste pattern making and deadstock materials.
